Description
Advantages of the servo motor driven cassette compared to the pneumatically driven cassette:
- Elimination of faults caused by faulty compressed air supply and inappropriate settings on pneumatic functional elements
- Automatic movement to home position; no manual checking of cassette position required
- The rotating cassette movement remains constant; no manual readjustment required
- No production downtimes due to elimination of maintenance and replacement of pneumatic components
Requirement
- The machine is equipped with an IPC (Industry PC)
- PERFECTA machines with Siemens S5 control system must be upgraded to our latest BECKHOFF IPC (Industry PC) control system
